What would happen if we took a few hundred or a few thousand Iraqi children who’s families who have relocated themselves in Jordan and Syria, and transported them here so that their educational and health needs could be met?
We could match them up with American families, have them visit American churches. They could go to American schools – and give our school children an idea of what living in Iraq is like. We could put an upper age limit of 7 or 8. Kids that young are not likely to be dangerous terrorists. Once it is safe for their parents to go back to Iraq or a year has passed and its reasonably safe, they would go home again.
