Hello. I am a father/computer programmer/Christian living in West Chester PA. The purpose of this blog is to explore the concept of “mission” in all of its ramifications. I am calling it “To the Moon” because of a book my sister gave me which inspired this blog called Destination Moon. I believe in ambitious achievable goals such as the one John F Kennedy stated in his famous speech:
“I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to Earth. No single space project in this period will be more impressive to mankind, or more important for the long-range exploration of space; and none will be so difficult or expensive to accomplish..”

I just read you are in West Chester, PA. Interesting. My ancestor is recorded as the first settler in West Chester. I saw it in a coloring book at the Sellers Library. My cousin still lives in the area and I visited him last summer. Small world. Mark

Are you the Mark Cole I remember coming to Christ as a high school student while attending Campus Life meetings in Lawrence some time around 1978 give or take a few (how’s that for a run on sentence)?
As my kids might say: “This is so cool!”
In my old age I’m just starting to catch on to the personal computer world and probably would have not have been likely to find you a few months ago. I started looking on line for you all as my oldest son is graduating high school (home schooled) and I was thinking of people who did calligraphy.
I think of you both often… and just got a look at Gretchen’s Hats. It appears you are doing well.
