Trickle Up Economics

Obama referred to “trickle up” economics in his speech to the NAACP (which I watched streamed from the NAACP web site). The idea is that helping the poor helps the rich. I think I like it better than the “trickle down” theory – helping the rich helps the poor. But if you think about it for a minute – neither one of those theories makes too much sense. Great rhetoric though.
